The 2011 Annual Infrastructure Oration & Awards

IPA held the 2011 Annual Infrastructure Oration and National Infrastructure Awards on 17 March. This event allowed the infrastructure sector the opportunity to come together and recognise the successful infrastructure projects of the industry throughout 2010.

The Annual Infrastructure Oration was given by Mr Peter Brecht, Managing Director, Infrastructure at Lend Lease. Peter’s Oration made a strong contribution to the challenges facing Australia’s infrastructure sector and provided a vision for how the government and private sectors could work together to close the infrastructure gap.  

IPA’s National Infrastructure Awards highlighted private and public sector achievement and celebrated, as well as rewarded the innovation, expertise and expert leadership of the national infrastructure community.
