Mr Rick Turchini

Biography

Rick Turchini is Managing Director of Baulderstone, one of Australia’s leading construction groups with a current annual turnover of approximately $2 billion.

Rick is a civil engineer with over 40 years’ experience, with a variety of contracting and project management disciplines throughout Australia and the Pacific, including civil engineering, building and mining.

Having spent his early career with Electric Power Transmission (EPT) Pty Ltd, he joined Leighton Contractors as a Project Manager in 1981, and progressed until he became General Manager of the New South Wales/ACT Branch.

Rick was appointed Managing Director of Baulderstone in 2005. Under his leadership the company has established a strong forward order book and balance sheet, and continues to be involved at the front end of infrastructure development in Australia.

Apart from his IPA and Baulderstone Board memberships, Rick is on the Board of Australian Constructors Association. He was previously a Board member of the NSW Construction Roundtable, and the NSW Civil Contractors Federation.
