Mr Geoff Daley

Biography

Geoff is head of the RBS Infrastructure Advisory team which is focussed on Public Private Partnerships across Australia. Geoff has unparalleled experience in the successful execution and delivery of PPPs, and has had an instrumental role in numerous PPPs ranging from ABN AMRO’s winning bid for the Partnerships Victoria in Schools Project to the first PPPs in each of Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.

Geoff joined RBS (formerly ABN AMRO) in May 2006 after 10 years with Blake Dawson in Melbourne where he was Partner in the Financial Services Group. At Blakes, Geoff practiced in the area of project and structured finance, with a focus on project finance and PPPs, particularly in the provision of social infrastructure.

Geoff is responsible for RBS's involvement in the bids for a number of upcoming PPPs, including the New Royal Adelaide Hospital PPP and the Peninsula Link Project in Victoria. Other recent transaction experience include:

  • Leader of the ABN AMRO team as the winning bidder for the Partnerships Victoria in Schools project.
  • Member of the ABN AMRO team as the winning bidder for the Royal North Shore Hospital PPP
  • Leader of the ABN AMRO team which provided the sole debt underwrite for a bid for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne
  • Key member of the ABN AMRO team as co-sponsor and sole bond underwriter of the winning consortium for the NSW Rollingstock PPP
  • Lead partner acting for ABN AMRO as sponsor and underwriter of the winning consortium for the Southbank Education and Training Precinct
  • Lead partner acting for ABN AMRO as sponsor and underwriter of the winning consortium for the Perth CBD Courts project
  • Lead partner acting for ABN AMRO as debt and equity underwriter of the winning consortium for the Southern Cross Station Redevelopment Project
