Mr Christopher Brown

Biography

Christopher is the Deputy Chairman of Infrastructure Partnerships Australia. He also holds the position of Managing Director of Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF).  

Before becoming TTF CEO in 1992, Christopher was Managing Director of JMA Public Affairs, worked as a Federal Parliamentary Advisor, trained with O&M Advertising and acted as an International Lecturer in Asia and Africa for the US-based National Democratic Institute. Christopher is a Member of the Commonwealth Tourism Forecasting Council, the Australian American Leadership Forum, the Indigenous Tourism Leadership Group, the Institute of Company Directors and the Lord Mayor’s Sydney Business Forum and was the only interstate delegate invited by former Victorian Premier Bracks to the Victorian Economic Summit.  

He is currently a Vice-President of the UN-affiliated World Tourism Organisation and the regional representative of the World Travel & Tourism Council. Christopher is also a Trustee of Australia’s oldest industry superannuation fund, LUCRF and is Honorary Chairman of Authentic Outback Experiences Ltd, a joint venture between RM Williams and AACo. During 2000, he was the Olympic Attaché to Botswana and a Paralympic Ambassador.
